You don’t need to begin with an outline. ToC Works’ founder spent several days exploring an idea in ChatGPT, following questions in different directions. Once the central ideas felt resolved and a distinctive argument had emerged, he asked ChatGPT to organize the conversation into an outline for a hypothetical book. That outline became the starting point for his work in ToC Works.
